Our plantation shutters are made with an advanced poly resin, designed for functionality and longevity. We find that while most plantation shutters are standard PVC and timber, Just Quality customers are exceedingly impressed with how much longer the advanced poly resin will last in Brisbane’s warm, humid conditions.

Yes – our plantation shutters can be designed to fit different window designs, including bay, corner, and arched windows.
We use angled joining pieces, bay posts, and corner posts so that the shutters follow the shape of the bay/the corner, instead of being installed as separate flat units.
When we come out to the property, a Just Quality consultant can give you specific guidance on which products are going to fit best with your window or door configuration.
Yes – we don’t have any ‘standard’ panels, every shutter is measured and made to the specific window or door frame. In terms of width:
Hinged plantation shutters: 180mm minimum, 950mm maximum width
Sliding plantation shutters: 180mm minimum, 950mm maximum width
Bi-fold plantation shutters: 180mm minimum, 650mm maximum width
Fixed removable shutters: 180mm minimum, 950mm maximum width
Double hinged plantation shutters: 900mm in total across two panels, ~450mm each
Combo plantation shutters: 1300mm maximum width per pair
In terms of height limitations, panels need to be 350mm minimum, maximum 2600mm tall. Any panels over 1500mm will be fitted with a mid-rail, and panels over 2500mm will require two mid-rails.
Brush seal is the thin strip of bristles that is fitted to each shutter, similar to a draught strip fitted along the bottom of a door. We install brush sealing across all plantation shutters as shutter blades to not completely seal all light and air. Brush seals fill any gaps to reduce light, improve privacy, reduce air movement, and improve insulation.
The advanced poly resin is scratch resistant and extremely durable – to keep shutters clean all you need to do is dust the shutters and wipe down blades with a small amount of mild soap to remove any marks.
